Photographer crush: David Prince

I’m always on the lookout for cheap, affordable, (relatively) healthy recipes. For easy weeknight meals, sometimes the mommy magazines are the best resource. No weird ingredients that are impossible to find. No obscure spices. Short ingredient lists and not-too-complicated instructions. Just my speed. And so I picked up a Family Circle a week or two […]

About Me

photo of miamired I like writing, photography, reading, music, design, typography, paper products, days in the seventies and sparkly snow, Spanish wine and cans of PBR. I spent a year in Córdoba, Spain, working as a language and culture assistant through the Spanish government, traveling, and writing about it here. After a few years back in my home state of Montana, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I like to go exploring, take pictures of my food, write letters, dream of far-off places, and think about concepts of home.

Occasionally I use affiliate links (when I remember). If you click on and/or purchase from one of those links, I get a small kickback. By 2050, I might have enough to buy a book. Just full disclosure. Won't be quitting my day job.
