When I saw that pink was one of the colors this week, it almost caused me to opt out. Pink…is not my signature color. I’m not sure if it’s the girly-ness or the fact that it totally clashes with my hair (the horror!) but it’s just never really been my deal.
All that being said, there’s no doubt that there’s a certain spring feel to pink, especially light pink. Maybe because Easter is all about pastels, or maybe because pink seems fragile, like those little buds slowly emerging from the just-thawed ground.
To prove to myself that pink isn’t so bad, I not only found some pink photos in my favorites – I found some pink photos in my own photostream to share, as well.
When I thought of pink, I thought of the Flamingo, where even the ice buckets are pink!

I love these photos. I am okay with pink in small, contained doses. I even think it can be a fun color sometimes. I do have a no pink flower rule in my front yard though. My husband thinks I’m crazy :).
