At long last, the last images from the trip I took to Seattle in November. I’ve written about it and posted photos here, here, here, and here.
An afternoon in Fremont:
Flights are back down to just around 200 dollars, so I’m looking forward to being able to make it back there in not too long. Nothing fuels wanderlust like more travel, right?
Been anywhere interesting lately? If money and time were no object, what U.S. destinations would top your list? What about international? Let’s chat about travel (one of my favorite topics!)

I haven’t been anywhere exciting lately, but it looks like we’ll be headed to Italy this fall (!) to visit one of my best friends. If money were no object, I would take a huge road trip across the US. I am still kicking myself for not doing this when I actually lived on the east coast and had school vacations. Internationally, there are too many places! Ireland, Sweden/Denmark, Australia.
Where would you be going if money were no object?
I haven’t traveled nearly as much in the US as I would like to (when I found cheap flights in the past couple of years, they were to Europe and I went for it) so some places I’d like to see include Boston, NY, Chicago, Savannah, Austin, San Diego, the Grand Canyon, Moab/Arches…the list goes on and on.
I’ve been saving up to go back to Sweden to see one of my good friends, but now she’s not sure whether she’ll be moving (and the cost of flights in summertime keeps going up). If it doesn’t work out to go and see her, I’d like to go back to Spain this summer or fall to see some friends. I’m really fascinated by a lot of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, plus Greece. And Turkey. So those are on my list, as far as Europe.
I’d also really like to go to Mexico (not so much touristy beach town, though), Costa Rica, Argentina, Thailand, back to Morocco, New Zealand/Australia, Brazil…there aren’t so many places I wouldn’t go, but those top my fantasies at the moment.
Next summer I’m really lucky to get to go to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with my mom, so I’m already gearing up for that.
Italy sounds exciting! Any idea where you’ll head/how long you’ll get to stay? I only hit the Rome/Florence/Venice circuit, but there were some truly lovely moments (and some truly amazing meals).
